There are any number of offers out there on the Net for free Adware removers. The offers sure look great, but are they all that safe?

An adware remover can be your computer’s savior, but it can also become a burden if you inadvertently purchase, or download, an imposter. It is an unfortunate fact, that many unscrupulous vendors and computer hackers have tried to dupe the innocent public by creating fake adware remover tools that actually do the opposite. Instead of eliminating unwanted ads, they simply open the floodgate for more.

Is My Adware Remove Tool Real?

A totally understandable question and one that needs to be answered. When purchasing an antispyware / antivirus program, please consider the following before downloading an inferior product. After all, if you purchase an imposter, the effects can be devastating.

Why can’t I see my Google Adsense ads in my Browser?

I had an interesting request for assistance today. One of my subscribers had to rebuild their computer system and when they did, they couldn’t see any of the “banner ads” on any sites.

By “banner ads” I mean AdSense, Auction Ads, Kontera, AdBrite etc. These seem to be all javascript enabled advertising services.

There were no errors being reported on the websites, the ads just didn’t appear. The user was using Firefox, as I do - so I checked using my setup, no problems.
